The Springfield Armory KUNA 9mm is a compact, roller-delayed blowback large-format pistol and personal defense weapon (PDW) manufactured by HS Produkt in Croatia and imported by Springfield Armory. It is built around a smooth-shooting roller-delayed operating system designed to significantly reduce felt recoil compared to standard straight-blowback 9mm systems.

Key Design Features
Premium Mechanics: The roller-delayed layout mimics the smooth recoil impulse of classic platforms like the HK MP5 but delivers it in a lighter, more modern design.
Ambidextrous Controls: Fully ambidextrous safety levers, magazine releases, and bolt catches allow for easy manipulation. The non-reciprocating charging handle can also be swapped to either side and folds flat when not in use.
Receiver & Modular Components: It features a monolithic Type III hardcoat anodized aluminum upper receiver for optics stability and a glass-filled polymer lower. The handguard integrates M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions.
Furniture & Ergos: Outfitted with an AR-pattern pistol grip configuration and an integrated Picatinny rail end plate for mounting various stocks or folding braces.
Trigger & Sights: Built with a flat-faced aluminum trigger providing a crisp wall and clean break. It includes low-profile hybrid flip-up iron sights directly on the top rail.
